The Gilbert, Arizona based company has only been around for a few years but is making big strides when it comes to algae based research and development. In fact, the company has now moved to a product development phase in their goal to develop some long term sustainability solutions in the areas of food, fuel, and fertilizer.
This is science, not science fiction. Algae has been around since the dawn of time and the Japanese have been using it as a protein based food source for years. The real benefit of algae- you have a near endless supply and the company is already producing algae based products for agriculture, health supplements, and food industries.
